The highlight of the evening came when Jeff started to laugh during a “save the ears / protect the soul” break we had from our listening sessions. We have a simple rule that no outside communications are allowed when we are in the studio, so the telephone junkies we are – some of us anyway – need to wait for hours before reconnecting our brains to the digital world. And when we do, it all becomes crazy, from international news to sports scores, interview segments, and on and on and on. But this time, we knew by Jeff’s laughter and face that he couldn’t wait to show us something funny, and it was indeed when he showed us a picture of Bill wearing his pendant on the wrong side with the mention “Canadian Style”. We all cracked laughing! And to know that Bill, who was on an international phone conference, couldn’t wait for the meeting to end so he could send us that photo was even more epically hilarious… fabulous! Especially after such an intense day for us all.
