Quand Eli vit Hannah, ses l\u00e8vres tremblaient alors qu’elle pleurait. Il croyait qu’elle \u00e9tait ivre, mais au lieu de cela, Hannah, st\u00e9rile, \u00e9tait plong\u00e9e dans la pri\u00e8re, pleurant, demandant un fils.<\/p>

Elle jura que si elle avait un fils, elle le consacrerait au service du temple.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s trois ans, Samuel \u00e9tait sevr\u00e9 et Hannah a tenu sa promesse.<\/p>

Le r\u00e9cit biblique d’une femme, aspirant \u00e0 un fils, mais montrant une incroyable volont\u00e9 de tout sacrifier, de tenir sa promesse.<\/p>

Pour Alex Henry Foster, son sacrifice \u00e9tait tout aussi intense que celui d’Hannah.<\/p>

Alex a perdu son p\u00e8re \u00e0 cause de l’alcoolisme, mais l’a retrouv\u00e9, ravag\u00e9 par le cancer et ayant gagn\u00e9 la sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 par la foi.<\/p>

Sur le lit de mort de son p\u00e8re, Alex a \u00e9t\u00e9 face \u00e0 face avec quelqu’un qui a caus\u00e9 une douleur immense et des cicatrices qui pourraient ne jamais gu\u00e9rir compl\u00e8tement.<\/p>

Au cours de ces 15 derni\u00e8res minutes, un fils a pardonn\u00e9 \u00e0 son p\u00e8re et lui a permis d’avoir la paix dans ses derniers instants.<\/p>

Tout comme le crescendo de la chanson The Son of Hannah, il y a un rel\u00e2chement brut et cathartique de tension qui na\u00eet de la col\u00e8re, mais lib\u00e9r\u00e9 par l’espoir.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A father, who sacrificed all for the drink, but found Jesus.\u00a0 A son, who found freedom in forgiveness, which inspired a very intimate concert for the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2019.<\/p>

Alex sacrificed the fame of Your Favorite Enemies and exchanged it for this personal quest to uncover his deepest emotions.\u00a0 His bandmates joined him in this expedition, and the result is a very powerful journey of forgiveness and hope where Alex can finally \u201cleave the past behind.\u201d<\/p>

The promise Alex is keeping is to include us in his journey.<\/p>
