\u00c0 la suite d’une longue tourn\u00e9e europ\u00e9enne, Alex Henry Foster a d\u00fb subir une double greffe cardiaque, une intervention initialement pr\u00e9vue pour durer 4 heures qui s’est transform\u00e9e en un tour de force de 10 heures avec pronostic vital engag\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>

Bien que r\u00e9ussie, la p\u00e9riode prolong\u00e9e d’intubation apr\u00e8s l’op\u00e9ration, ainsi que les nombreuses transfusions sanguines n\u00e9cessaires, auront un effet d\u00e9vastateur sur Foster<\/strong>, car en plus de son \u00e9tat physique fragile, il devra endurer des mois sans pouvoir parler, sans savoir s’il pourra chanter \u00e0 l’avenir, victime de graves \u00e9pisodes de brouillage de la m\u00e9moire, d’incoordination, de vertiges et de migraines, ayant pour cons\u00e9quence directe l’impossibilit\u00e9 pour lui de lire, d’\u00e9crire, de jouer de la guitare, ou de regarder un \u00e9cran.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bien que de nature optimiste, il \u00e9tait alors impuissant. Apr\u00e8s quelques temps, il a contact\u00e9 son ami et collaborateur de longue date Ben Lemelin<\/strong>, (coauteur et multi-instrumentiste de son groupe live The Long Shadows<\/strong>) pour l’aider dans ce qui semblait initialement \u00eatre une sorte d’entreprise de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration positive avant qu’il ne r\u00e9alise l’amplitude ambitieuse du projet.<\/p>

Foster<\/strong>, priv\u00e9 de sa voix, a l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019inviter Momoka<\/strong> \u00e0 \u00eatre la voix et la premi\u00e8re incarnation de son projet. Elle \u00e9tait loin de se douter qu’elle deviendrait le point central de ce qui allait devenir l’album intitul\u00e9 Kimiyo<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

L’album s’inspire des t\u00e9moignages des personnes que Foster<\/strong> a rencontr\u00e9es au Japon en 2010, notamment celui d\u2019une femme qui, apprenant sa grossesse, a voulu mettre fin \u00e0 ses jours avant d\u2019y voir une forme d\u2019espoir, de sens \u00e0 la vie.<\/p>

Le premier extrait de cet album, A Silent Stream<\/strong>, verra le jour le 27 mars. C\u2019est un voyage contemplatif \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur de nous-m\u00eames, destin\u00e9 \u00e0 nous faire d\u00e9couvrir le sens des jours qui passent, au-del\u00e0 de l’illusion du contr\u00f4le du temps et des significations auxquelles nous aimerions croire.<\/p>
