Actually, Alex Henry Foster should have been on stage last year, but a heart operation prevented him from doing so. Fortunately, really fortunately, this Canadian is now there with The Long Shadows next to him. From the first second he completely captivates the remaining audience, unfortunately quite a few people have gone home because of the Dutch national team. It is an adventure to see this, to follow this, to hear this. A trip with an incredible number of segments that make it mysterious, intense, exciting and energetic. That is not only because of him, the six musicians of The Long Shadows also know what they are doing. Incidentally, Alex Henry’s passion is exemplary. He jumps off the stage, continues playing guitar, walks over to an enthusiastic boy and hangs the guitar around his neck. Beautiful to see.
