Montreal, December 18, 2023<\/strong> | Alex Henry Foster<\/strong><\/span>‘s Hope for Morocco<\/a><\/strong> campaign is an initiative that rose following the tragic earthquake that hit the southwest region of Morocco in the night of September 8th, 2023.<\/p>

Morocco has been a highly significant place for Foster ever since he first set foot in Tangier back in the summer of 2016. It’s a place where he found comfort for his grieving heart and healing for several of his emotional wounds, through people’s benevolence and kindness.<\/p>

This is why he decided to join the relief efforts by designing a t-shirt, the profits of which will be divided between the Moroccan Red Cross, the High Atlas Foundation and Banque Alimentaire (Food Bank). You can also donate money through our online store, which will be added in its entirety to the global amount the campaign raises.<\/p>

In the name of everyone at Hopeful Tragedy Records, La Maison de Tanger, The Long Shadows, and In De Goot Entertainment,<\/p>

On this 75th anniversary of the Human Rights Day, I\u2019m profoundly humbled to announce that thanks to your incredibly heartfelt generosity and your active empathic mobilization, we\u2019ve not only been able to give 5000$ in donations to the Moroccan Red Cross, the High Atlas Foundation, and the Banque Alimentaire but also to distribute thousands of postcards with words of support. We teamed up with dear friends and local associations in order to provide necessary basic kits such as blankets, socks, warm clothing, water, food, and tents to the numerous people affected by the earthquakes that occurred in the southern part of Morroco on September 8th and who are now facing the implacable reality of winter.<\/p>

It\u2019s truly a privilege for me, my collaborators, representatives, and loved ones to be part of a family composed of individuals as extraordinary as you, always engaged in turning compassion into action, ever willing to make a difference in other people\u2019s lives, in your community, or in places of needs where you can have an impact, may it be by giving financially, offering a bit of your time, writing a message, or any possible way you can. You are profoundly inspiring.<\/p>

Let\u2019s keep on being a hopeful voice and a benevolent presence in a world that seems to become more and more cynical with every new human catastrophe and natural disaster we have to communally deal with and personally process the reality of.<\/p>

Alex Henry Foster’s year has been pretty challenging, starting with his heart surgery that could have stopped everything. But with patience, wisdom, a lot of courage, and physical work, he’s now back on his feet.
