It’s with a profound joy that I’m inviting you to watch the Open Conversation about the project A Whispering Moment that I had the utmost pleasure to film alongside my best friend and bandmate Jeff at the iconic Tanger Inn club a few weeks ago. Beyond the subject of the song Shadows of Our Evening Tides itself (the main focus of the project), I’m also sharing about depression, cultivating a spirit of rebellion, and self-emancipation.
I don’t think there could have been any better place for me to have that type of soulful moment than being seated in the very same club where the likes of Ginsberg, Burroughs, Kerouac, and so many other heartfelt misfits used to talk and muse while living together in the dazzling city of Tangier… No wonder why it was quite surreal for me to be there as well and why I went pretty deep into the intimate nature of what I ended up exposing during our tête-à-tête.
