It’s with great enthusiasm that I am introducing you to my next album producer, Grammy nominee Mikko Gordon, who has worked with the likes of Thom Yorke, The Smile, Arcade Fire and the latest record by Idles, to name a few. He’s also a longtime creative partner of iconic producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, R.E.M.).

I’ve been talking with Mikko for a year or so. We met in London and spent some time with his family in Tangier last October. Beside being an incredibly gifted and highly talented producer, he first and foremost is a wonderful human being, who’s been there for me when MacKaye passed and who’s been very comforting regarding my post-surgery limitations, all of which came reinforcing my desire to work with him for what I see as my second-chance-at-life album. It’s a very significant record for me and I’m blessed to have him on my side for such a journey of life, art, and rebirth.
