Edition #27
My Favorites of 2022
My dear friends, brothers and sisters,
I hope you are all doing great as we are slowly closing on another challenging yet inspiring year.
To do so, I once again decided to look back at what my favorite movies, TV series, books and albums have been in 2022. It’s always interesting — if not funny — for me to recall those different elements, especially as they are usually associated with moments I shared with loved ones and as such reflect significant periods of the last year I would have otherwise already forgotten.
There’s no particular order nor any creative judgement on my part regarding my selection, and I probably forgot some as there’s always too many for me to remember anyway, especially during a year where I spent almost 8 months away from home, may it be sitting in a crowed van, on a plane leading me across the planet, waiting in a hotel lobby, having another drink in an airport lounge, or being in a café between soundcheck and show time…
My overall constatation is that I should have read a whole lot more and watched a whole lot less true crime TV series…! That being said, I wish you’ll be able to discover something or someone that will move you in a way you haven’t been so far in 2022. And please, by all means, let me know what moved you this year as well.
May you have wonderful holidays, my precious friends and family.
Much love,
Alex
In no particular order...
